Hi bro , I run a 21 inch Mosmatic surface cleaner best you can buy, oversized tips at 40 degrees angle for paving about 1250 psi per tip with full flow, have spare spinning bars with different tips much better easy to swap out bar on the fly, I would recommend changing supply line on surface cleaner gun trigger line to 1/2 inch to surface head, just cut and weld in 1/2 inch high pressure stainless steel socket and 1/2 pressure supply line.. 20 minutes with cutting in edges and ball valve rinse ..👍🤙

Take of handle/trigger of surface cleaner, upgrade whip line to 1/2”, control flow with dn10 ball valve. Upgrade bar to a #hilowsolutions tornado bar 4 tip bar, put 24020 tips in. Then Watch your surface cleaner become a monster.

I bought the same surface cleaner from Northern Tool 20 years ago to use around house. The specs said "up to 8gpm". I had a 5.5 gpm, 16hp Brigs&Stratton. I hooked it up to my pressure washer and it barely spun it and then quit. I tossed it in my storage building. There it sat for 20 years. I never took the time to do any research. Then I bought a 8/3500. I put 2, 25 degree 4 gpm tips and it hovered above the ground unless I held the handles at a 60 degree angle and pushed down on it. It flew ! Vertical and horizontal. I was told that running tips that were too small would damage a pressure washer. So...now my guess is that the pressure regulator was smarter than I was and shut down the pressure whenI had 2/2gpm tips and 5.5 gpm....just my guess.

Could go to 2 - 3gpm tips to prevent that surface cleaner launch. One of these pressure washering channels mentioned it. I think it may also help prevent etching. But it's been a couple of weeks since I've seen that video and I've been watch a lot of pressure washing videos so I wouldn't know which it is.

About 10min to clean that particular deck and rinse it. I have the same machine with the igx700 and it definitely likes the fuel. Cleaned the inside of a 80x150 horse arena this morning with it and ripped right through it.

@jasonbraun90602 жыл бұрын
@@YoungAmbitionYA I only have 70 hours on it. Not positive on the model but it's an AR pump. It's from R-washers which looks like yours is too. It's a beast. I know I'm a minority but I prefer my 6.5gpm for house washing. That's assuming there is no crazy angles I need the extra distance for.
@youtubeisajoke25462 жыл бұрын
I thought they make the 4gpm tips because they expect the gpm to be split since it’s two sprayer underneath. I would think that’s the correct call because if you use two sprayers on a 8gpm pump or 4K psi you’ll get 2k psi out of each sprayer or 4gpm

(Edit again) you might want to return the 20” and go with the 24” with a 3 tip bar!) With that 20” SC… Tips? Look back at my post reply on your flowpro install vid. 👍 2x 6.0 is for 12 gpm machine but work for me (like 40060 tips). Work with tip size to get the pressure range you want at SC and not have to throttle back or adjust k7 too much. Like, set k7 with green tip at where you want and then adjust tip size on SC to reduce pressure to where you want ( about 1800- 2300 psi) and keep a higher flow rate for faster cleaning. Of course you will need to throttle back and/ or increase tips size even more for softer/ newer concrete. There Is one more area of adjustment often over looked as well. The head unit on SC also can be slid up and down make the bar and tip height closer or farther from the concrete too. Annnd, if you add casters, we’ll those too can be use to adjust SC ride height… it can get confusing quick! 🤪 If you don’t mind I can link you to another guy’s video that explains it pretty well. Hope this helps!
