I absolutely love all of your Environment pieces, Trent! This and Crescent Moon is probably my favorite. Your voice is also so soothing and tranquil, you should do an Audio Book for your Novel! Keep up the Great Work! - Your Number 1 Fan

Hey Trent! I like the story, I lost my father in the war, but I won’t let myself be enraged by that because someone has to break this cycle of hate!

Hi!! I love your videos. I would love to be a videogame concept artist myself and im really working on it and feel inspired by your videos. I just wondered what steps you took to go from the black and white drawing to add all the colour whilst keeping the same detail?

love it. love it. love all of your work. I was multitasking and then saw you painting glowing lights all around, did you explain what that brush is? It looked to be a scatter square with a layer style glow but i wasn't sure and didn't want to rewind to see if you said. but that is a brilliant idea if so and i will start doing that! Also I'm happy to tell you I finally decided to do one of my stories as a graphic novel that has been on the (back) back burner, it will be a sci-fi and is kind of my take on robin hood. That is all i will say but I hope to share it with you when I get some stuff drawn out. For years it has been only in my head and some notes but no drawings, so I'm putting my musketeer thing to the side because its kind of a collab and my collaborator is busy making chain maille lol. anyway SO awesome love this city, cant wait to see more videos, I learn something every time. (why couldn't I have just paid YOU $50 thousand dollars instead of the Art Institute?) I'm asking myself this a lot lately...

+RavenOfLocksley Glad to hear it! I'll be looking forward to reading it! The effect that I used is actually a layer effect! Its nothing special about the brush at all. Simply right click on your layer in the layers panel, and go to "blending options". From there, go down to "outer glow", and adjust the sliders up to like 5-10. Now anything that you draw on that layer will have an "outer glow". After that... you can erase out to soften the areas of glow that you want o be less intense. I do this so much that I don't even think about it... it just happens.

Trent, I have been watching a lot of you vids and bought some of your stuff from sellfy. I have worked in photoshop for years as a graphic designer but I haven't done much illustrating until lately. I haven't seen anywhere in your videos where you talk about what resolution you work in and the page size. Can you share some of that?

+dewwhore Thanks! I dont know if people buy prints anymore though. It would only be worth it if a lot of people said that they want them.

Get it in front of people man. I make my living on prints going from convention to convention selling prints. Hell I'll take them for you and give you the money. Give me some copies of the twilight monk comic and I'll sell those for you too.

If you haven't seen his channel before, RossDraws makes prints for people and makes a killing selling them and I think you would too! Check it out, you might get a base idea for if/ how you want to sell the prints! :) Loving your work, this only the second video I've seen by you, but I'm very impressed, and the title of this piece gave me inspiration for one of my own!
