I enjoyed the spread triadic and 7th chord arpeggios that utilised the various inversions. I’d love to see (and hear) your system for learning chord extensions and altered chords with their various and numerous inversions. Thanks in advance! 🙏😊❤️

Wow Ben, this discussion is brilliant. I have always enjoyed your solos over Giant Steps, but this is incredibly helpful to see some of your thinking behind this tune. Also I really love your sound on this guitar, are you blending some of the acoustic sounds with the electric? Great stuff

Thanks Jack, I really appreciate it. So glad you enjoyed it - and yes, I'm blending in some of the acoustic sound here.

Why does all jazz "impro" sound the same.

For the same reason that other languages sound indistinguishable to you -- because you don't understand the vocabulary and phrasing yet.
