Awesome vid man Fantastic way to end the year and kick off the next! Spots definitely a gem and good to see healthy tuna lurking deep in the swamplands👍

Very healthy 'Tuna'. Probably as no road access and too far walk for most Aucklanders. Also protected as area part of a Auckland Regional park. Was good to see and fun to feed them. Glad you enjoyed. Cheers for the comment.

Wonderful video, I am surely going to write tide and bite times from now on. Thank you
@DarkmoonAngler5 жыл бұрын
Writing things down is just how I remember best. But if your away from civilization for a while its a good idea. Sunrise and set, a long range weather forecast, and tide heights are also valuable data to have.

Another top vid darkmoon! Looks like that earlier recon trip payed off. A nice spot on west coast killed it.👍

Thanks. Definitely a hot spot for the west coast of Auckland.

ya reckon its better to walk from karekare? ive always wondered what karekare beach actually fishes like
@DarkmoonAngler5 жыл бұрын
Slightly shorter distance from Karekare and there are a few good guts and holes on the way. from Whatipu its all shallow white water with a massive long shore rip caused by the harbour entrance.
