Giant Trance X 29er 2 on Sedona Trails in 4k

We explored the beautiful Sedona Trails with my new Trance X 29er 2. We took it on Slim Shady, Templeton, Easy Breezy, and the Baldwin Loop. She handled like an absolute dream! The views were incredible and the trails were amazing!

Great video!! Thanks for posting. I have this same bike, riding on the US east coast. Amazing value for the money. I actually upgraded the wheels, hubs (i9 Enduros with Hydra) and put 35mm carbon riser handlebars on mine. Really made a difference in the way it climbs and rides. Much more engagement and saved about 1.5 lbs. on the bike weight.

Nice! I did Slim Shady back in April. Did both directions. Then Highline to Easy Breezy. I’d definitely recommend Easy Breezy. Its a fast snaky gradual downhill with multiple stream bed dives. Templeton was a blast as well. We hit it from the west end via Baldwin / Crescent, but I’d do it from the east end now. Climbing out of the canyon was mostly pushing bikes up stair sections. Did the trip on my ‘08’ Spec. Enduro Comp 26. I’ll be dropping the vid for that one in a couple weeks. Can’t wait to go back with the X2. You should come do a ride with us sometime.

I love east breezy! I prefer going down it though rather the. Backwards haha. It’s a tough trip that way! I have never done highline yet. I would say my skills arnt quite there. But perhaps later this year when the weather cools off I will tackle it for the first time! :) it would be great to ride in a group!

@@17736tja my buddy Scott and I are going back up in Oct. we’ve got access to a house on Oak Creek. We’ve done work for the owner here and there. We usually make it a working / biking weekend. Ill let you know when we get more solid plans.

Beauty place to ride! I just got my 2022 trance x 29 2. Yours looks slightly different not sure why. What an amazing bike though. I came off a 2017 trance 2. This new trance is a whole new animal. What brakes are on your trance?

I’m not sure the exact ones. But I know they are Shirmano MT420 or something along those lines. 4 pistons up front, 2 in the rear. I’m trying to do a review video but it’s taking awhile sadly… what big differences did you notice between the two bikes? And yeah. Super awesome bike I love it!

Curious where your flip chip is. I have the same bike in the 29-1 version. I’m wondering in you are in low position causing more pedal strikes

So I have it in the low position and it does have slightly higher pedal strikes, but I find the stability greater for me personally. The high mode is good for clearance, but harder on turns. At least for me since I’m more of a beginner

What is the length of the stem? 50 or 60mm?

I’m not sure off hand I’m sorry. I might have mentioned it in my review video I did for the bike. I think it was 20mm
