The gold wobbler was always a fave for me, chasing reddies. They cast well and don't twist your line.

just awesome still have some of those lures in the tackle box from my old man :D just bought my first rod combo in long time shimano viper FGX and zman soft plastic with the TT jigs after watching so many of your videos. cannot wait to go lake illawarra with my bro try out some of your tips. past 10years fishing once or twice a year only caught small bait fish hopefully can finally get over to something worth bringing home :D

Wow they are so effective! I have a few but I’ve never tried them out! That’s gotta be one of the biggest trout I’ve seen in australia!! The South Australian fishing authorities really need to step up their game to do stuff like this!! Take advice from the VFA. They have done an excellent job stocking local reservoirs for sure I can give credit for that

Hey mate, great vid and great fish. Last year we smashed the big ones on the spoons/wobblers. But this year we couldn’t get a single big one on a lure not sure why. Even at eildon pondage couldn’t get a big one on a lure.

Yeah by all reports eildon was a bit slow this season, not quite like the previous couple of years. Its really strange how the can switch on and off and take a liking to different lures at times.
