I had a similar procedure done when I was about 7, having them frozen was the wierdest feeling in the world you could feel the cold for about a split second and it was so cold it turned numb the area around was really cold though

You are lucky boy your mum took you to the right doc. I had my warts removed with liquid nitrogen and my doc didn’t put any numbing cream on it and let me tell you this thing hurts like a hell

Dr. should have debrided the wart scab first then applied the liquid nitrogen so the LN didn’t have that thick callous wart tissue to go through in order to reach the core of the wart. That liquid nitrogen cold may never reach the wart core with all that callous blocking it.

Great bedside manner, but really unsafe practices. if THAT KID HAD BUMPED that cup over, he's have instant frostbite burns over his ankle and foot

I'm pretty sure that kid that did everything in his knowledge to get rid of that wart that's why it became that large (I assumed it got infected). When I was in high school I had that on my knee. At first I ignored it but it grew where you can feel the hard part getting thicker. Then I got conscious and started to remove the hard part with nipper until a small bump remain. I repeat the same process when I feel it's getting thicker again and eventually get rid of that wart without any medication.

That's what happens most of the time, if you can get it early cut of the veins connecting it, but also make sure your blood won't get to anywhere it can infect others, wrapping cloth around it for example, only really have used this method for footwarts, wouldn't feel comfortable doing it with handwarts

I had a worst on my toe under my big foot once. Before the god awful pandemic. I first noticed something weird with my foot when i was walking around barefooted and it felt like a tiny scale/plate in my foot. Eventually after I realized it was a wort, it got sprayed with liquid nitrogen. A couple weeks later, i pulled the death skin off. It is annoying as hell to have a wort directly on the bottom of your foot where you step. 1. It smells like hell. 2. You literally are so uncomfortable walking barefooted. Also that kids wort was pretty bad. I dont know why it was left on for so long.

Little tip if you ever freeze off warts at home. Make sure to really warm up your wart area afterwards because you can get frost bite.

I suppose I’m a different breed 😂 when I had warts on my hands in my teen years I would numb them with an ice cube the best I could then light a match blow it out and put the hot end straight on that bad boy. The pain was intense but they would turn white and then you can just rip them off like dead skin. I know I’m a mess 😂

Yeah that what it looks like when you repeatedly try to get it off without disconnecting it's blood flow, but also remember that warts are infectious and thus so is the blood, so wrap it up in cloth till the bleeding is done
