This os the first time I've seen some actual gameplay from Zerospace and it looks rather interesting! But I gotta say, that unit that kept saying "CHOOOOSE MEEEEEEE!" over and over again, I can see that getting on the player's nerves very quickly 😂😂😂

am 2 min in this video and I see something that can be improved. the tower has two indicator. the dots on the ground inside the circle and the spikes going up on the circle line. the points should stay in the color of the current owner of the point of interest, but the spikes should indicate the change better: when unflagging, the spikes should change from color to white and while charging, they should be in the color of the player capping the point of interest.

So Legion is similar to Coop Alarak - sacrifice units to buff up your Heroes. Also the Terror Tank reminds me of C&C3's Marv, though they work a bit differently.

This look really good for the state of development it's in, units are much more distinct and it looks like it controls well

In the very limited messing around I have done ZeroSpace feels like a weird (though fun) mix of Dawn of War (due to money generation), Command and Conquer (top bar, and flux gathering), and with slightly jankier movement than SC2, though it is miles better than C&C3 (for me at least). I like how the army buildings and research are easily accessed but I don’t get why flux miners/harvesters don’t appear in the production menu.

Oh I do like these choice upgrades you get, this actually reminds me of a game I absolutely love that (sadly) seems to have been abandoned by the devs, it is game called Alien Marauders, if you know They Are Billions it is game in similar style, and you have that exact mode in the game too However the game also has what is essentially a 'roguelike mode', where you pick a hero, each hero has different units they can give you and then each level/boss kill you pick a new trait, this can be variety of things, from making your hero's cooldowns better to improving your units in some ways to making things cheaper, you can get units (Sometimes very powerful) for free or you can even completely change the way certain units play, for example there is a tank that either be a powerful ranged unit OR it can become a literal battering ram where you drive into enemies to do damage, I absolutely love this game mode and played it SO MUCH, it annoys me to no end that there were no updates for so long, it is not officially abandoned but honestly I would be shocked if devs return at this point Still, even incomplete, if you like They Are Billions style gameplay and wanna mix it with roguelike upgrade system? GO GIVE IT A TRY, I promise you, it is lot of fun

I'm on mobile, so the graphs are a little hard to read, but it seems like the AI players resource gathering doesn't register in the "flux income and "hexite income" sections of the graph, it's just a 0 line, so you can't actually see your own income rate. Rest of the graphs work perfectly, and i quite pike the "cheat" source listed for income (which I'm assuming is from the +5 AI, it gets extra resources compared to just a nightmare AI), its very honest.

Didn't the choose between two abilities thing used to be a more extensive upgrade list? I swear it had like 3 options and you could use upgrades for the mercs you chose as well, right?

Always happy to see more videos of this game! I've played a couple of skirmishes vs AI yesterday. I'm not really an RTS player (I only ever play the campaigns, usually on normal or even easy difficulties, with a few skirmishes vs AI), but I enjoy watching others play (PvP or campaign/challenge runs). The game feels really good, but it's difficult to see what every unit does and why I should use it. I assume this will be covered by the campaign once it's finished, but faction-specific tutorials would be great too. I also have no clue why in some cases I can't upgrade units. I understand needing to tech up first sometimes, but other times it just says that there are too many upgrades already. Are upgrades limited by unit category (source building) on top of having mutually exclusive upgrades within each unit's upgrade tree? I suppose this will be properly explained in the final game's tutorial but for now it's extremely confusing.

i'm a supporter, but i am having a hard time getting my head wrapped around the game from just vs mode. i'm sure spending a bunch of time playing would help, but i feel like i would rather just wait for the campaign mode

Grant just summoned Avatar of Khaine. Wow. If make AoE damage and animation, it will be so epic!
@Raizan-IO53 минут бұрын
More like the emperor. IIRC Avatar of Khaine needs to be targeted onto a unit, this is outright a projection. Also, lore wise avatar of khaine always disappear when inevitably beaten, this one just might as well go away on its own accord.
