@@Darchias Power Overwhelming is invulnerability. Infinite Energy is "The Gathering" But it's a toggle, so Grant can activate it to mass-control all the lings when required and then deactivate it for when it's not.

Hello Grant. You might not know that you can just right click with a production building on a point on the (mini) map to set its rally point there. You don't have to use the rally point hotkey. Also, you can control click the larvae to select all larvae on the screen and produce faster without having to click every hatch

Grant was using ctrl-click on larva earlier in the run I thought. i'm sure why he stopped though

So at 10:23, from how it works in sc2, i think why that happened is because the firebat does damage from near the very start of his animation if not exactly at the start of it, instead of anywhere during the animation, that or firebats exploding deals damage in sc1 lol.

If cannons are allowed, you can do deathless with scouts only. It'll just take a really long time. If cannons are not allowed, you will just flat out die.

If a guy can get to LV99 on FF7 on the first battle of the game, you can mind control the zerglings. It may be boring, it may be tedious, but in the end you can say you did something no one else has or will again.

Hey Grant, I don't know how far you have gotten in trying out UED: First Light, but I highly recommend you save a lot during the 2nd mission and you may want to plan on breaking it up into multiple youtube videos. It is a pretty cool mission in my opinion with a great atmosphere and captures the sense of chaos and desperation of a zerg invasion on an unsuspecting world very well, but it is a long mission with one of the achievements being able to beat it within an hour (I did not). Also the hero unit starts off pretty weak and you lose if she dies so it is smart to save a lot until she gets stronger.

I thought of the next challenge: Build whatever but ALL combat units must be rally attack moved (assuming a modder can do it easily enough) from the initial spawn onward directly to the main objective - if there isn't one such as a defense mission it still has to be with the goal of killing enemy bases. Of course for 'split base' objectives once one is effectively killed you are allowed to reassign the rally. No build missions are exempt of course because they are impossible to win that way. And no cheesing to trap your units then lift. Static defenses (not units) are of course allowed so long as they aren't used as cheese (aka no walling with sc2 zerg defenses then unburrowing to let waves out)

I suppose it wouldn't be hard for someone to mod the first few missions to be reapers or just have Grant start the challenge from when you unlock them. I assume this challenge would have to allow missile turrets though or I don't think it is possible. Reapers are more expensive than zerglings and take more time to produce so Grant wouldn't just be able to shrug off losses and ignore air units like he can with zerglings only. Even here he needs the spore colonies to win. I guess if you don't mind a unofficial challenge instead of a "this is actually possible", you could have someone mod the reapers to be able to attack air units as well so you can ditch the missile turrets. At that point, you might as well go nuts and make a firebat-only challenge and give them the ability to attack air units.
