Giant Monster Games Well you definitely deserve it. I know the other night you said you were debating on Patreon, but you were wanting to come up with perks for us. But I'm sure you'll find out that we'll be happy just supporting a channel that we enjoy, rather than getting a reward. When in fact being able to get more videos to enjoy would be reward enough.

It's definitely more of a mid range deck. It does have some troubles with fast aggro decks or fast combo decks.

Giant Monster Games You know...after you said that I remembered that a lot of people are playing W/B/U or W/B/G in my modern FNM and it's pretty slow so this deck may work to my advantage MUAHAHAH!

DO IT! and if you always need more board sweepers the sideboard has lots of wiggle room. I just built it as a "general good against top 8 decks" but if you don't have much tron or deathshadow then switch it up.

Yeah, I love playing Haparta, Visor of Potions. She's such a great card to combo with nest of scrabs. Haparta is actually one of my favorite cards from Amonkhet. Haparta is a great card in general. Don't you love Haparta, Visor of Potions?

Black Sun's Zenith would also be a nice upgrade card for the sideboard or even mainboard of this deck. It would be a good card against opponents using lots of small creatures (like goblins/soul sisters), token decks, or simply as board wipe. It may be a double edged sword, but it has great synergy with nest of scarabs, Necroskitter & other cards in the deck.

Richard Bennett you should be able to look at the list and see where the budget is. Switch doomblade to fatal push. Upgrade to fetch lands verdant catacombs and overgrowns. I dont believe there are any creatures to upgrade. Could easily switch up some cards though

Im running a -1/-1 counters deck on Arena with scarab god as only red splash, it works really well with the others Also running 4 walking ballistas which work great with the 4 winding constrictors

Is Ammit Eternal a viable option for this deck in modern? It worked well in standard of this deck but not sure how it translates to modern

I love your decks and videos, but after watching your last gameplay of this video I looked back and felt like channeler initiate is a dead draw pretty consistently, with the addition of abrupt decay over doomblade, what are your thoughts on running woodlurker mimic over the channeler

soo this deck would do WAAAAY better if you skipped out on the scarab nests and instead put in Flourishing Defenses, sure they cost 2 more mana and are green, not black, but you you will be getting WAAAAAAAAAAAAY more use out of them, also drop all Scars for Everlasting Torment, it's just better in the long run. also better removal would be Black Sun Zenith. since you would be getting a metric ton of elves with flourishing defenses

That is a good question. Step one Better mana base. Step 2 better control and removal package. I hope to do an upgraded version of this deck in January.
