Hello Dan and Nick. I wanted to drop by the first few minutes to see your reactions. I feel the exact same way you bot do. This was a disgusting loss. Maybe because the Giants have a better roster than in 22, this loss hurts more. I told a buddy at a local bar here in my new town, Charlottesville, Virginia, that I am leaving at what was the 740 mark of the 4th quater (actuali checked out of this game somewhere in the 3rd quater), that i am totally fed up and for the first time as a Giant fan, I am quitting on the team. By the way, i just turned 70. I just was living a tremendous high after the Yankee AL championship win and did not get to bed until 4am. By the way i wished you guys were Yankee contenters, that would be so much fun now. I told him I can't let this football team bring me down. So i will watch for your feeds, leave a like and maybe a comment but i wont be a fulltime sub for now. I am 100% focussed on the Yankees, and this team, the Giants will sap the energy out of me if i let them. This team is so friggin (my version of the F word) bad that it is not worth taking my attention away from the Yankees. I dont think I'll miss anything from your great work on the All22 breakdowns. I want to give you all the support i can from a distance. One last thing and sorry for this long narrative. To give you guys some idea of how loyal i am as a Giant fan. Many years ago, back to the original house that Ruth built, the Giants were playing their last game of the year and i think their record was 1-9-1 and game was scheduled on NBC. That day we were in the middle of a bad snow storn and NBC decided not to show the game. I immediately spent the first half calling NBC to ask why this was happening only to get busy signals. My father asked me why i was bother and i said i am a loyal Giants fan. So now you know my dedivation to the Mara family and the Giants. But the glass is now empty and i can no longer fillow, especially during the WS. Best to you both, your outstanding people. I watched that terrible game as I’ve done for the past decade plus. That stadium was sold out. The Mara family continues to makes millions while we continue to watch. Sorry to say I agree with you. However, I don't think it's either deliberate or something they can easily change. When their judgment about a QB is so massively poor, not just once but time after time after time, how can you believe they'll EVER make the right call? But yeah, maybe a boycott would cause the folks who bet so hard on Daniel Jones (and ultimately that's gotta be John Mara) to reflect meaningfully on their errors -- cuz so far I don't see it.

Dan, I like your rants. I wouldn't like an unemotional analysis of the game. Like many fans, I don't understand why they are giving a pass to Jones. Like you, I also hate watching Jones play. I don't live in the NY area and don't want to pay for NFL Sunday Ticket, so I have NFL+ and watch the replay 20 minutes after the game ends. I started fast forwarding through the replay in the second half. I started watching the offense again when Lock came in. I saw him attempt a long pass and an intermediate pass that Jones would have never attempted. I want more of that. Next week, I will fast forward when Jones is playing. I will be happy to get another chance to watch Lock. BTW, last year I saw Devito make a quick decision, throw a long ball, and hit a receiver in stride for a TD. I also saw him throw with anticipation into space, drive the ball, and hit an intermediate throw. I'd like to possibly see more of that. I know you don't like Devito's arm talent. However, I would much rather watch a QB with below average arm talent who could run more aspects of Daboll's offense than watch Jones, who is so limited. Devito has only played six games. Maybe, with more reps, he would be able to process more consistently. What do you think? I am happy to see that someone else is as angry as I am. Hang in there.

I hope everyone learned their lesson last year, at this point we have to put all our effort into becoming excellent at tanking. Start whichever QB gives us the best chance of drafting high next year. All those second teamers and practice team guys need more playing time so they can develop. Dex, Bobby, and Malik need more rest time, especially in critical situations. Andrew is already doing his part. Daboll needs to come up with some brilliant explosive plays, but save them for next year. The entire coaching staff needs to stop watching NFL tape to prepare for next week and start watching college football to prepare for the draft. We can do it folks, we have a chance to win the whole thing, the biggest prize of them all - the 2025 draft.

As a former coach, I know when I see a good player, bad player, and a good and bad coach... Daboll is a bad coach. Bad offensive philosophy, bad play designs, bad game plans, bad passing concepts, bad route combinations, bad game adjustments, bad play calling, bad personnel moves... All equals a bad coach. The roster clearly has holes. However, I don't understand how anyone can think a better QB would not do more with what the Giants have on offense. DJ has shown he is not capable of making guys or a bad situation better. DJ is everything you'd want in a QB, except the ability to play above the X's and O's. I strongly believe this same roster and team would be more viable with an above average QB. The QB is 1 of 11 guys on offense. However, his play on the field can raise the level of everyone else. DJ has proven he is not capable of raising the level of play by his teammates. QB's don't grow on trees. Otherwise, each team would have one. It's critical to move on quickly when you know you don't have one. I'm past ready for the DJ era to be over. And, I do wish the kid well. I believe he played the best he could. It just wasn't good enough. Go Big Blue!!

Hoping Mara gives Daboll etc a pass due to Jones….hes a talented coach, I really like Bowen with the defense. Give him a real QB. Only Mara knows what his influence was on giving DJ that deal. Unless Mara was totally hands off….he owes them a pass.
