Yo Nate! Id start off by looking at ERA and WHIP. Average ERA is around 4.00, so a good era is anything under 4, bad is anything over 4. With WHIP, 1-1.3 is average, under 1 is very good and over 1.4 is getting bad. These stats arent absolute, a great putcher could have misleading stats so dont judge a pitcher too much just based on stats! Hope this helps.
