The Mustang at 16:57 is that Damn Yankee? If so I worked on her as a young teenager in the early 90’s at the old Rialto Airport in California. Thirty years later I’m restoring my personal 1967 Cessna O-2A Skymaster.

Yes, it's the Damn Yankee. Stationed now at my hometown airport Lelystad NL and owned by Tom van der Meulen. Fantastic job, restoring the O-2A!

The plane you identify as a Grumman Tracker looks more like a Navy S-2. The S-2 had its entry door on the right side of the plane and the T-1A Tracker had its somewhat larger cargo door on the left side of the plane. I have been a passenger in both aircraft, and a maintainer for the S-2.

It's a Grumman US-2N Tracker, former Dutch Navy V151, painted in KLM colours. You are probably talking about the C-1 Trader, but the Dutch navy never had Traders.

@@APVW-aviation-videos Thank you for the information. The Tracker and S-2 (along with the E-1 (Willie Fudd AWACS) all shared the same air frame and powerplants. Two R-1800 9 cylinder radial engines. A good number of them are still in service around the world, especially for a post-WWII design.

Having worked on that aircraft, personally, it is in fact an S2-F TRACKER. The F version (the first) is best identified by the radar unit above the cockpit. The S2-D and S2-E versions had the radar unit removed. I worked on the D and E versions for 3 y6ears. What you are describing is (if I remember correctly) is a C2 Trader. Same basic airframe along with the E1. The E-1 had a teardrop shaped radar above the plane itself. If you look closely you can see where three bomb racks were, (just the mounting sockets remain) on the Starboard wing. Under the aircraft, on the port side is a bomb (torpedo actually) bay which held 2 torpedoes. On the S-2s the back of the engine nacelles was open and contained launchers for sonobuoys. The C2 and E1 the rear was enclosed. These aircraft were placed in service in the 1950s and served until the early 1970's Some are still in service as water bombers in fire fighting service. It says a lot for an aircraft that is now 60+ years old.

@@robertweldon7909 The N had the radar above the cockpit. See abpic.co.uk/pictures/model/Grumman%20US-2N%20Tracker. Our navy had the F version too, called the "stoof".
