Nah. Webb throws gems for 6+ innings, gets tired, and gives up runs. The offense never supports him. I've never, ever seen him win a game with the offense scoring at least 7 runs

Pirates remind me of the Angels when they had Ohtani. Ohtani would usually leave a game with the lead but the Angels had a knack in trying to give him that no-decision. This will probably happen a lot to Skenes this year. I'm pulling for Skenes. Looks like he's got a bright future.

Luke Jackson is a liability. He needs to go, like since the beginning of the season. A small part of the bullpen can do with a bit of work, but the majority is well off

I said it before, but got to get that pitch count down for Paul, ~100 pitches in six innings outs a super heavy reliance on their bullpen which obviously can’t handle it.

I completely get that. I just don't want the Pirates to do to Skenes, what they did to Gerritt Cole. Cole was a power strikeout pitcher, but the Bucs had him pitch to contact. He was good, but when he went to Houston and they took the reign off, he was a Cy Young pitcher. I would like to see Skenes get his pitch count down, but I don't want to take away one of his best attributes. I'm sure there are probably other strategies to get his pitch count down, but everytime I hear that I just think about Gerritt Cole and what happened with him. If you're more knowledgeable on pitching strategies and ways to get pitch counts down, I would actually like to hear, for my own curiosity ✌️❤️🫡

As a Mariner's fan, I've felt for King Felix to throw so great for so many years only to never make it to the postseason, I sure hope that doesn't happen to Skenes, he looks like he's going to be dominant for a long time granted that he stays healthy

Sorry MLB, you have the worst highlights of all. You show guys walking in a dugout, pitchers warming up, batters on the on deck circle, and many other non-plays, but skip hits, outs, pitches _ the game itself. Just one example. A guy leads off an inning with a triple and the next clip is of the 3rd out, but at least you showed the last batter heading back to the dugout and the other pitcher walking the length of his dugout - exciting stuff!
