Ump was terrible tonight. So many clearly low pitches going in the favor of the Yankees while the O's are in the zone low and getting called balls. Thankfully it didn't cost the O's the game. Also, hearing the Yankees fans cheer for O's players getting hit and booing/crying during mound visits, pick off attempts, etc. shows the classiness (or lack thereof) they represent. Glad the O's stayed above and kept cool heads tonight and came away with the W.

This game is almost like a mirror: A great starter, batters who delivered in crucial situations, and an untrustworthy closer to each team. In the end, the only difference lied in the arms of the catchers. One let way too many stolen bags, and one was able to pick runner off right when it mattered the most. GG Orioles!

I am not defending trevino . His arm does concern me but the bullpen is a much much bigger concern . They are giving up multiple runs in every game . Even the best catcher in the game would have a couple stolen bases on him when the pitchers are doing such a lousy job at keeping the runners in check . Baltimore had to lose on average 107 games per season for 4 straight years to get the talent they have now. Unless the Jays are willing to do that they can't copy Baltimore's method. They need to make good trades at the deadline to strengthen their farm and then develop their future draft picks into respectable major league talent.
