Gunter looked like a God on that stage. He had that display of power, strength and beauty all wrapped into one. Imo he was discriminated against just because he was a German man and they didnt want him being the face of the Olympia so they went with Ronnie instead. He absolutely shouldve won.

No one can beat my all time favourite- the Incredible Hulk (Lou Ferrigno)! I actually did not know he was that tall. He didn’t look 6foot 5 in the Incredible Hulk TV series

They definitely didn’t make him look tall in the show. I think that was a mistake not showcasing his height. Could of made the show better.

In the old school, they were rivals only when they were on the stage. There was respect among them. Nowadays I don’t know what there’s among them, but I know that there isn’t respect.

When you think about it these superhumans would be inconceivably powerful in the medieval times. People back then never had enough food to eat as much as we do now in order to grow so big. its honestly incredible the range of size and power the human phsyique is capable of

What about Arnold? He was not as tall as Lou but he was still much taller than most of the people he competed against. That was one of his biggest advantages, his height and broad shoulders gave him the ability to pack on more mass than most of his competitors.

I have 6'3" , 20 years lifting weights, and I can tell you, it's very hard to fill your frame when you are taller. For example, a 18 inches arms in a guy of average height might be impressive, but it's not that impressive in guys over 6'0". In another hand, when you fill your frame it looks great. My inspiration to fill my body was Lou Ferrigno. Thanks for this video, very nice stuff. Gustavo Curia, 38 years old, from Brazil
