Loved the salt papi fight and idk how in the world people would say the ending shot was an elbow. I even did a frame-by-frame in my video of it, and like you mention, his elbow *barely* scathed kenny's head and it didn't even make solid contact otherwise you'd see two impacts (the fist connecting then the elbow), but kenny's head only jiggles *once* at the point of fist to face contact.

I think gib has a good chance at winning, the reason why salt papi gets knockouts is because his opponents play into his possum play and overcommit. Gibs in and out movements and fact that he’s not reckless like a king Kenny or Josh brueckner, gives him a good chance at beating salt. Salts counter style only works for an aggressive in your face fighter.

The only real challenge he’s taken on was AT and Salt. Nunes was overhyped as fuck. Temper was debuting. Sensei hadn’t boxed in how long. DK Money… come on. Ashley Rak-Su just threw punches and won on that alone since Kenny didn’t. My Mate Nate.. eh. He’s okay but not Misfits level good. Nunes again, overhyped as fuck. Anthony Taylor was a challenge. That’s a fight not many influencers should really take. Adam Brooks. Who? And then Salt. He’s had 2 tough fights out of those. Temper and Ashley he both claimed he got robbed and couldn’t give them any credit for beating him. He runs his mouth and gives every excuse when he loses. That’s why no one gives him props.

Nunes originally looked like a problem and considering Kenny hadn't looked that great he was probably an underdog going into that but till this day that was his best performance he looked phenomenal that night. Sensei is a life long martial artist so while not boxer or particularly high level. It was a dangerous fight for a guy that just started training. Should have lost but not the point he's taking on pretty tough challenges win, lose or draw so I give him props. I don't watch these guys KZbin so no idea how much he runs his mouth. Just know I respect his efforts in the ring. You say these other guys are trash as if they aren't of a similar level or higher level than Kenny. Sensei was nd still is considered one of the most dangerous fighter, if he was still boxing he may have landed a fight with ksi nd Jake. Ashley wasn't good as other opponents but was still good as he survived with AT even after a knockdown in the first few secs, Nunes was considered one of the best until the Kenny fight, ksi even called him out which says how Kenny made it look hella easy. AT was a challenge obv as I doubt anyone in the influencer scene would want to fight him. Salt Papi as we know if such a dangerous counter puncher which is showed in their fight. Overall he has challenged himself nd I hate to say it but he has easily given himself challenges which ksi nd Jake are yet to give excluding the Tommy fight. When you're in the ring against someone who doesn't stop moving like a windshield wiper, doesn't stop feinting, and doesn't ever slow down, it's a completely different ballgame. Now everyone knows why Taylor Holder wasn't throwing any punches against Gib. His activity was too much, and Slim simply had no idea how to deal with it aside from clinching for dear life. Also, Slim was asking for Gib to dirty box him. You can't complain about your opponent landing shots to the back of your head when you're literally turning your head and purposefully exposing the back of it. Not to mention that Slim was the one initiating the clinch every time Gib came into range. If Gib should've gotten a point deducted for the rabbit punches, then Slim should've gotten a point taken for the excessive holding.

I was really impressed with Slim's cardio. It's always been an issue, and he said he fixed it for the Salt Papi fight which turned out to not be true. I was thinking that even if he did improve, tiring out in round 3 almost every fight to being able to go 8 was going to be impossible after 1 fight. But damn, he didn't look as tired as he did in any other fight at the end of the 8th round with Gib, someone who also tires you out with his own pressure.

I’m a ksi fan but there was absolutely no subtlety to his commentary. congrats on the figth wade good luck will for sure be tuning in ! i wanted to talk about GIB if im honest while he is probably up there in terms of skill and star power (somewhat) in misfits i dont know how him calling for these big fights is going to go becuase that is the second fight of his that we have seen where he was fighting and there was a mass amounts of empty seats despite the hype of the event now i know i know kingpyn tickets were all bpught by the brazilians and misfits couldve done more promotion-wise as well as the fact that it was in qatar but if danny aarons could do it in ireland on his literal debut (with the help of a mini concert) surely the '2nd biggest fight in the scene' should at least have a full crowd - with that beig said i think they should hold salt v gib and alex v deji on the same card sometime next year after KSIs Q1 fight would be a solid double header to keep the huge rush of momentum and energy that the scene is filled with at the moment

My theory is that ksi wanted gib to win the whole time, because he was tired of slim pestering him for a fight. Slim kept getting more and more credible wins and it got harder and harder for ksi to justify not wanting to fight him (ksi most likely wants huge fights, both for his own succes but also to have more bargaining power with jake paul on the A-side matters, slim is most likely not gonna be a huge fight in the immediate future). Ksi has already been unfair to slim in the past, despite slim being kind of a company fighter and while he got away with it then, it wouldve looked terrible now, especially since Gib has been throwing jabs at misfits, more specifically mams for a while now.. What happened is the ideal outcome, he gave slim a huge fight and took his side, so no one will say anything about ksi being unfair to slim, gib won, so now slim cant really keep asking ksi for a fight with him and all of this ALSO builds a possible fight between gib and ksi, which DOES have a lot more potential to be a huge fight than the slim one ever did, gib is a bigger fight AND their past as friends, training buddies, having so many mutuals, including at a point mutual coaches,etc and eventual rupture is probably the best influencer boxing storyline aside from ksi vs jake and ksi vs logan. The best part is that even if gib wasnt big enough for ksi's standards now, the tension between them and just this story in general will help gib get more clout, which increases hype for a fight with ksi, which also increases hype for misfits overall, these things feed and grow each other until gib eventually gets big enough to be a huge fight.(as long as he keeps winning). I imagine he needs 1 more credible win with a few viral moments in the build up and a ksi fight is happening, OR ksi fights jake soon enough and then retires from boxing, makes up with gib and gib becomes the misfits icon.

Viddal and Leon had good advice. Work on your gas tank for sure but also your technique/ combos. I want to watch you win every time bro. TAKE THIS S OVER BRO! You need to get sensei, viddal and Leon either in a call or in person being brutally honest with your technique and giving pointers. Honestly could play defensive for the first couple of rounds and counter punch HS but when he starts gassing you turn it up bro.
