@johnstaring3210 on a light truck with split rims the lowest you can go without pinching the tube is 60psi, but I've found with my Coaster bus 100 psi and 70 kph is quite smooth till you get the very deep and wide corrugation

It was at the optimum speed, not fast but enough to fly over the corrugations for a smoother ride. Any slower would be more damaging. However, there is another thing to lookout for, are the sharp stone, so slow enough to see them coming too.

I had changed tyre on the cliff sides of the Nullarbor, on the sandunes of CSR. The guy helped me out of his kindness, saving me breaking my back with these 60Kg buggers.
