Somewhere ,ln(natural log) is used while in some other videos log is used instead,i am confused over this because it is the only difference in different expression..can you please clarify.

some people define "log(x)" as the logaritm with base "e". I think that's stupid and unnecessarily confusing, because we have "ln(x)" specifically for that. It'd be so much easier if people just used "log(x)" for logaritm with base "10" and "ln(x)" for logarithm with base "e".
