Here at Wildwood, we love the simple joys of life: a hot cup of coffee in the morning, sunshine, a cool spring breeze, that sort of thing. But, we have a special place in our collective hearts for one simple pleasure above all others: a slab of mahogany with a P-90 capable of unleashing pure rock and roll anarchy. Needless to say, we were delighted by the 1957 Les Paul Junior Singlecut from the Gibson Custom Shop's 2019 Historic Collection.
Playing one of these lean, mean rock and roll machines is the musical equivalent of doing a burnout in a '67 Camaro. It's so fun that it should probably be illegal, and it gets your adrenaline pounding! Despite the '57 Junior's preponderance of muscle, it's a surprisingly versatile beast capable of excelling in many genres. So, let's dive deeper and examine the source of its many sonic delights.

These Custom Shop Junior's must be built with magic or something because my USA Jr does not intonate and play in tune as well as this one.

I've got an SG Junior USA, it intonate perfectly. I ha to push back the brige for the low E a little bit since i use 10-52 strings

I plunked down for a CS. I felt like a complete idiot paying 10X more than an Epiphone VOS which I already play and love, but......., but it is at the very least 10Xs better than that VOS Epiphone. The CS LP Jr. 57 is the greatest guitar ever produced. I'm serious!

I have to say, the recorded sound quality/mix was better on the old vids with the Imperial/BB pre. I still love Greg and follow everything he does, but I barely watch these demos anymore, which is sad!
