My ‘57 125 sounds incredible from my Henriksen Bud10. I’m sure an Eastman would sound ok but a bit less mojo.

Have a 52' just like it sitting across the room from me as I write this. ES125s were Gibson's Budget Archtop line. Still, they're great old guitars and work for genres from Jazz to Country just fine.

How loud is the P90 pick up noises? is it tolerable or annoying?

It has some noise as all P90's do, but not objectionable to me.
