Here's one you won't see everyday - a Goldtop Standard Faded! Professional quality high gloss top finish. Mahogany is the original unfilled finish, so the tone is not compromised in any way. Interesting, though, is that I converted and sold this guitar earlier in 2015. At that time, it had been refinished from Tobacco Burst to an amber unburst color. Sometime after that it was refinished as it is now and has found its way back to me. The original Manalishi pickups and pots were removed (bad idea), so it now has a freshly built pot/cap assembly, using 3 CTS True Vintage Taper pots and a CTS 500K Push-Pull to change phase, and a new set of Manalishis - the way it should be! In addition to the usual aged Faber parts I always use, it has all upgraded plastic: Gibson Historic pickup rings, truss rod cover, and pick guard; "Art of Aging" control knobs, switch ring and jack plate; aged Kluson Deluxe tuners. A 2008 Gibson® Les Paul Standard Faded with a 50's neck, and weighing 7 lbs., 0 oz. (3.18 Kg.). Excellent overall condition of the top, with some scratches and dings on the back. Frets are fine with many years of life left. Fadeds are remarkable guitars. The best sounding Les Pauls ever made by Gibson, made even better by my LCPG conversion! Guitar players are on to just how good they sound and, as a result, prices keep climbing. Includes Roadrunner hard shell case and official CV Guitars conversion certificate. This is a unique Faded - possibly the only Goldtop on the planet! $2,400 USD Available at: www.corsaguitar...
