Had that shovel for about 10 years. Way better than any folding shovel I've used and it works good as a hatchet too.

I use the water container. I saw a video where a hand/dishwashing station was made. A pump dispenser of hand sanitizer and dish soap and a paper towel holder, on it's back, bungee strapped to the water container. I put it on the end of a table or picnic table and a 5 gallon bucket, on the ground and below the spout, to catch the water that would normally hit the ground. It's a must have for my car camping.

Great video for the basic beginner. One tool I would add as an essential for car camping. A Garden Plus collapsible rake from Lowes. It's only $11.00. It stores at just 35 inches then opens to a full sized lawn/garden rake in seconds. Really handy for cleaning the site before and after setup.

Two Aquatainers next Wally World trip, Check! Agree with all of the rest, but since you are Car Camping and your Vehicle can take the weight, even a couple of Low End Tarps from Harbor Freight should be in the Tote. They REALLY help with the Hot Sun and Pouring Rain. But I'd add a Seventh Essential: extra Tent Stakes. After all, who knows what's available to tie off to at the Camp Site? Again, cheap ones from Walmart work fine. Take Care.
@ManInTheWoods763 жыл бұрын
As tarps go, I opt for tent footprints. My essential kit has a thick waterproof nylon floor protector for a tent. It isn't meant to be a tarp, but it's better. A little bit more money, but the best kit you can own

so you chilled under an open tarp in the mud during a rain storm? im not a camper but i would think thats when u go into your tent. good to have the tarp to cover your tables though
@altitudeiseverything31635 жыл бұрын
vikkievale - Rainstorms in the Rockies are usually brief and light, enough to get you a bit wet, but not enough to produce mud. Sometimes, however, we get downpours that are downright brutal, often including hail; those pass by pretty quickly, too, though.

@rjschneid475 жыл бұрын
Yes, ads are annoying. However, without them: nothing. nada. zippo. No videos. or, pay subscription FEES. The same folks who complain about ads, want everything for FREE. How thoughtful -- as if every entertainment or information video is just produced for the sheer love of it, just for the ad-haters who want it all for nothing, and totally at the expense of the producers. What world do you live in?
@faithrada5 жыл бұрын
@@rjschneid47 I think they meant... the whole video seems like a plug for items?... which it IS. He's all about showing off different things that are available.. that is the whole point of the video. I do agree that 'regular' adds that pop up ARE necessary...and I don't mind those really, .. it's HOW so many of these hard working KZbinrs get paid for their efforts. FAIR Enough! 😉

Things can be cheaper on amazon and its a lot less time consuming to search on the app than to spend hours driving and browsing stores for what you want.
@Itsisawnotiseen6 жыл бұрын
PurgatoryDays you have a phone? Call and ask. I can look online to see if the item is available at the local Home Depot. Target. Walmart. Lowe’s. This guy wants you to support him. Your local retailers are struggling now. Did you see what Amazon has been doing lately? They are pushing the states to mandate higher minimum wages. Why would they do that? So they can drive their competition out of business.

Actually I like when they link it. I will probably not order it cause I’m to lazy to wait and I don’t live in the us so it will be more expensive. I just use it as a guide to buy the stuff on my local stores

Michael T not always. I was at a local Walmart, and that can be fun in and of itself. I spotted a RV sewer hose by Camco. $29.95. On sale. That same hose is $39.95 at Amazon. I was out looking for a trickle charger yesterday at Home Depot. $39.95. I Googled it. $29.95 at Walmart. I asked a clerk if they price match. She said any store but not online only, such as Amazon. Michael if everybody felt like you, watch what happens to you communities. Schools. I’m Not rich either. Try getting a dollar out of rich people. It’s guys like us who tip wait staff.
