I LOVE these Mocs. I have worn them working on a farm, have worn them in the rain and in the snow. They have really held up and are so easy to wash!

Aaron, I've owned a pair for a year now and love mine! They are my go-to 70% of the time - especially since the pandemic has pushed me to work from home since March. I've worn them to work (8+ hours at a clip), the beach, , at home, and around camp. They've held up very well. That said, I agree that the almost $80 price point is a little steep (I lucked up and paid $25 for mine on a REI Mega Pro Deal), but the value for me is still there based on the use to comfort to wear, even at full retail. I've definitely worn through other shoes much quicker given the same amount of time on my get-away sticks. Great video, great product! Hope this helps your viewers!

As a Mainer, our standard warm slipper is a L.L. Bean "Wicked good" sheepskin slipper, which is $79, so these seem average price, with wayyyy more utility. (You ain't never gonna take the Bean slippers camping.)

Expensive slippers, but they look comfortable. They also make high-top models! There is even a laced high-top model called the "Ember Commute" I am struggling to figure out even more. Thanks and stay well, Aaron.

I’m really digging that footwear. It seems to be perfect for what I need around my house. I live in the woods and always gotta go outside quick for endless chores it seems from 3 kids and 2 dogs lol. $75 dollars is a little steep. If they hold up for a long time I can justify that price maybe. But definitely will be looking for when they are on. Sale and will pull the trigger on them at that time. Thanks for the great reviews!

I wish it didn’t have the part where the sole/toe curls up in the front of the slipper. I have had a terrible time with these toe flap coming away from the body of the shoe.

Hi Aaron. They seem like a thoughtful design. I actually was looking for something like this , I didn't know about these so I went with a pair of Saucony jazz low pro sneakers. I already own a pair of Saucony jazz low pro's and a pair of Saucony jazz , I like the way they fit and are constructed for light weight sneakers. I could have just worn one of the pairs I already have BUT the wife's mental about not wearing shoes in the house so I figured I would get a new pair that hasn't been worn out yet. I will keep them loose so I can slip on easy but I like the idea of having something more substantial than slippers in case of emergency or intruders in the night , those Tevas would definitely fit the bill , I'm not sure they come in my size 14 , that is a challenge sometimes. My new Saucony's arrive tomorrow but if I had seen this video a few days ago maybe it might have been Tevas. Thanks. P.S. just wanted to add that I had a pair of Columbia brand slippers that had a wonderful rubber sole BUT they had a reflective liner that I didn't care for at all and they were also the scuff / slip on style and many times while turning or walking backwards the rubber sole would grip the floor and my foot would come out , and they were expensive. Thanks Again.

What does “rocking” mean? If you mean “wearing”, why not just say that?
@elderhiker77874 жыл бұрын
Rocking is an current idiom that is used to express a higher degree of satisfaction with whatever it is used to modify. Fifty years ago, we used the idiomatic express “bitchin” to do exactly the same thing, such as “that was a bitchin wave you rode.”. Bitchin is no longer used and now young people say rockin. Idioms are sometimes difficult for new members of a culture to understand because, on the surface, they make no sense. Go with the flow, you just learned something that might make you a hipster. Now, ain’t that bitchin?
@Paul-up3pb4 жыл бұрын
@@elderhiker7787 Thanks. I’m in my early 40’s ... I guess my friends & I don’t need to create “idioms” to try to be cool when talking to someone. Plain English has always worked, and I think it will continue to work. Can ya’ feel me dog? LOL 😉

@HOSTILE MGTOW I didn’t want to embarrass ElderHiker by correcting him, getting into a debate about English language, but since this keeps on going ... might as well be accurate. ElderHiker, An idiom is a phrase / group of words (not to be taken literally but to make a point.) “Raining cats & dogs”, “going to hit the hay”, “He stabbed me in the back”, “Costs an arm & a leg”, etc ... so “rockin”, “bitchin”, or “dog” is just street slang usually used by those trying to be “too cool for school.”- now that’s an idiom. 👍 (From one idiom to another. 😉)
