You're by far the best knife reviewer out there, really appreciate the fact that you actually put the knives to use and show us how they perform at different tasks. A lot more helpful then just talking about the knife like most reviewers do. Keep em coming man you do fantastic work!

It is great to see SOG and Gerber bringing back well made excellent designs, As someone who is a little older I can remember when SOG and Gerber were the Benchmade and Zero Tolerance of thei knife world. That was a great rundown of the years best folders. Your channel is by far and away the best knife channel on KZbin in my opinion. Thank you for the work you do I really appreciate it.

The Air Lite is a real winner. It's a mixture of the Broken Skull, the American Lawman and Recon 1. Love it. But you forgot the 2000 pcs. Limited Edition LT Kris Ti- Lite here. Most sexy blade of all time - and Lynn honoured the Ti-Lite designer Phil Boguszewski with it. That is the one I will never sell...

Sog's designs & taking their names off every part of the knife is a huge step up. D2 is nice, but add S30V or CTS XHP and trim the weight and I'll finally put one in my pocket.

Love the CS Airlite, bought it based on your first review, no regrets. I feel your pain, Cold Steel is going down, bought by a large company and it never ends well. I am jumping all over existing Cold Steels before the new ones come out. They were on my list, just not on top. Now they are, Code 4, Voyager, and even the Counter Point 1, different blade for me very nice check it out before they are gone. Late.

Honestly, im not a cold steel fan at all, but my cold steel code 4 is damn drop shut and super smooth, especially for a lockback or triad lock. Looks classy and was a really good price for well treated s35vn A little sad as i was hoping to see a thinner lighter version of the Ad 15 with its scorpion lock before they get bought out...

It sucks cuz I really like the updated versions of SOGs knives but they took a step backwards when they decided to make them so much heavier than the previous versions. Also I wish they'd do away with the spring assist. The new colors are different and awesome.

@MPerry-ox9qb 3 жыл бұрын
I'm definitely not buying old Sog with their name on every part of the knife. The new designs are excellent, but I agree on the weight. Definately need to trim down the weight. D2 is a step up, but S30V and lighter weight would put one in my pocket.

I think this was a knock out! (No pun intended...) great video! I think that it’s great to see the resurgence of some brands! Both SOG and Gerber have really stepped it up! The Sedulo is an exciting knife because it just takes the best of a lot of various design features and combines it into one! I mean it has sunk screws too... that makes it so easy on the pocket!

I always carry a utility knife also because sometimes a regular knife isn’t sharp enough to cut through thick plastic packaging where a utility knife is a razor and a razor of course is sharper than a knife.

I went to get my pops a knife for Christmas today and looked at the Sage 5, but went with the Para 3 light with the blue handle scales and the new steel they came out with. Great video, thanks. What would be your choice of either a non-locking knife or a locking folder that has to be opened with both hands. Background: in Germany it's restricted (not totally forbidden but quite difficult due to German weapons laws) to carry locking one hand knives in public. Therefore I'm locking for a good one hand slipjoint knife or a good backlock knife with a nail notch. Can you recommend something? Thanks in advance
@gideonstactical
@gideonstactical 3 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry that you have to deal with those type of laws. The few knives I would recommend to you would be the Buck 110 or 112 series, or the Gerber gator series. Both are not super expensive will have a locking mechanism but are easy to open to hand it.
@dutube0815
@dutube0815 3 жыл бұрын
Wow, thanks for the quick reply. The Buck knife looks really good, especially the brass parts. The Gator looks a bit too large for an EDC but I'll give it a try. Yes, the German knive laws are very strange and restrictive: for the reasons mentioned above, I cannot even carry my Leatherman Wave 2 in public, because of its two one hand opening and locking blades. Very unsatisfying. Have a great Christmas and a healthy and successful new year
