Cheating is not okay, but this was bound to have happened with Devon and Nia. Nia, calms Devon. She brings out a side of Devon that no one else is able to. Also, she is always there ready and waiting whenever it is Devon wants to vent, without judging. As for Marcus, he didn't do himself any favors. He was the one who caused her to lose her biggest contract, by being unreliable. He then acts as if there is even a question when it comes time to act like an adult and find a job that will provide financial stability. Overall, that marriage is a mess and they need to let it go. Devon, thought she could've been with Marcus and that would have been enough, but she obviously needed a woman's touch. With her personality, she needs someone like Nia. She balances her out.
