The issue that I have is, I'm in a platinum alliance not too far away from MMX, if my alliance has to play against them, I'm wondering if they are still going to cheat as far as piloting goes. So my buddy said pretty much everyone has 2-3 other accounts that they grind all year with to build up units and they brought them into the alliance to gift then left. He also said theres more than 1 that bought 20+ Odin's.

Looking at the estimated $ amounts, I agree with several other commenters that Kabam are the real winners here. I do agree that it looks very shady that MMX is #1 but lacks enough individual members spending (in the leaderboard) to account for that #1 score. I strongly suspect that a lot of those points came from the arena moders/cheaters that Kabam can't be bothered to put a stop to taking advantage of the structure of the gifting event to get a massive payday. What I'd like to see happen is for Kabam to look into it, ban the cheater's account (perma ban, not temporary inconvenience ban), take action against MMX if there is enough evidence to support it, and give ASGRD the rewards they would have earned if not for the shady activity. Of course, a low spender like me, who barely breaks the $10 per year mark on the game, isn't going to influence Kabam much. I suspect they'll try to sweep it under the rug unless the big spenders who keep the game afloat and profitable demand something be done. Just as a question: Do those estimated dollar amounts take into account credits people may have earned from grinding arenas, or is it just the estimated value if they straight up bought it all?

I’ve got no problems with COW or Asgard they clearly should have won the gifting event by a country mile and got completely shafted. Not the first time Awakened have cheated there way to a win and it won’t be the last. My guess is Kabam will probably give the catalyst selector to Asgard as a “I’m sorry” gift and maybe the equivalent of the other rewards as well.
