Thanks Clint. I use the Behringer Xenyx QX602MP3 Mixer with USB MP3 Playback because it does have a pretty decent reverb. It is only $120. I have to get one of those mic stand setups. Very cool.

Excellent video, Clint. There are many people out there who will benefit greatly from this. I suspect that you will discuss this later, but in this video you did not explain how you got the min-jack output from the I-Pod to a stereo 1/4" input to the mixer. Since there is not a 1/4" jack in the bottom of the I-Pod, there must be some type of cable converter from the I-Pod to the mixer, correct?

The iPod actually come in to the Mackie Mix5 mixer on the Tape In channel ... so the cable is [1/8" TRS-Male to dual RCA-Male] to plug in to the RCA-Female inputs on the mixer. Covered in later videos of this series ... Thanks Randy!!

Thank you for the great video. Will you have any videos on how you created the portable part of this rig. Like how did you connect everything to the microphone stand?

There are 5 videos in this series - coming out over the next few months ... Basically, everything hangs on a mic stand with off-the-shelf components such as the Gator Frameworks GFW-SHELF0909 Microphone Stand Small Accessory Tray (I think I use two of those ...)

What kind of flute were you playing when you started this video?

It's an A minor flute by Steve Petermann.

Is there a specific reason you use an iPod vs an iPhone or an iPad?
@ClintGoss2 жыл бұрын
Not really ... any MP3 player or other music player would work ...

Clint what kind of mike stand do you have that would hold all the accessories without tipping over?
