Just a tip because i didnt see you do it in the video but you dont have to inspect armour to see what class plates it has just hover over the hp in the bottom right of the armour and it will show you plates and thier hp for a fast read of it.

My big strat has been crafting the ANA M2 rig. The recipe (at Lavatory level 3) allows you to reuse damaged plates to craft an entire new rig plus two plates, so once you get your first rig and the required lavatory level, you can start pumping out replenishing supply of them. Since Lavatory 3 requires Workbench 2, this is locked behind Mechanic 2.. but getting an endless supply of class 4 plates with class 3 soft armor is definitely worth it. Also you can pair them with the Monoclete plates to reduce the weight further, and to immediately put the default plates back into the crafting cycle.

I dont think plate carriers is worth to use because when you die you will never get them back with insurance.. they will either wear it or put into their backpack for extra slot but when it is normal armor they just dont wanna take it most of the times because its not worth the price/grid-size and they so heavy

Exactly. Specifically that plate carrier which is 3x3. All 3x3 rigs are used to take plates from other people. It also has no neck protection. Class 2 neck protection is good early wipe and easy to access.

If you’re doing well, the ana m2 is soft class 3 and sells for around 60k empty. Put in 2 mono plates and people will have a very hard time penning your armour.

For the starter armour I'd still go with a PACA and not the 6B2. Yes, it's a bit more expensive, but you get side protection and it also doesn't reduce your ergo/turn speed/move speed as much. A minor thing, but the side protection at least will help you not get sniped in the side by scavs.

Also I learned that if you are good at arena and consistently win games in last hero and bomb game mode you can farm a lot of xp. if you have the xp boost for each class 12k xp for each class when you win with them. Also you can farm 1.5 mill doubles a day if you wanted and transfer money

Old old armor was the best system, the plates rework only made so bad players would kill you with RNG bad aim and in consecuence everyone started running shit armor cuz it didnt matter, thats a very bad gameplay loop to have in a shooter GAME (not a simulator)

When I get hit , I blame myself for being in the wrong place. When I fight and feel like I got shredded? I say I should hit my shots better, and be more ready for a fight next time. I don’t run helmets, I find them because I’ll get head throat/eyes anyways. Overall : hell yea I’m happy the armored rigs are better again :>

You just want to have meta ammo without even playing, find a new game buddy

No you’re not but the problem with the other system is the health system didn’t match so your entire thorax was at risk constantly so armor now is super tanky but before was basically useless so there was no middle ground but this wipe mid wipe might be better with trader reselling and ammo availability

The only real issues stemmed from the stupid decision to add the one tap armpits and throat, and the frequence that bullets collateral to other limbs randomly. Remove those, put the armor back to where it was, and it'll be much less of a problem. There also isn't really much ammo available on the flea that'll stop the higher tier meta armors. We're practically right back to where we were a some odd wipes ago with extra bells and whistles. Frankly I'd rather have way more guns and ammo be viable with armor being less powerful. We're gonna fall into super boring metas way quicker this wipe than last wipe.

Even removing those too much of the thorax is exposed like imagine your heart was your entire chest that’s the basic health system only way it would work would add a slimmer chest hitbox covered by the armor so if your outer chest is blacked the inner chest takes more damage so lower pen can still kill

BSG should balance Monoclete and all the other polyethylene plates, as they make the rest of tier 4,5 and 6 plates meaningless. IRL they tend to have pretty bad backspace deformation, especially with the rounds that are close to penetrating the plate. BSG can implement that in the game and make them an edgy solution for any intense pvp

It’s about consistency. The old system made the game wildly inconsistent with bullets killing you in areas such as the arm pit because of how the plates worked. It was always a mystery with tons of people pasting videos getting killed in the thorax against 10 pen ammo while wearing class 4.
