Sorry for the mix up with the outro, not sure what happened.. Anyway enjoy the video and feel free to ask any question you have right here!

"Ideal HTPC", "Fantastic for its size", "Quiet". But there is an affiliate link in the description to buy it... Which means that you'll earn less money if you say the product is bad. So it's hard to trust you. I've read another review (on hexus dot net) of the GB-BXi5H-5200 which puts the noise in the "cons". It was a written review so it couldn't let the reader hear the noise. But in a video, you can and should have done that.

+brinckau Hey, so I see where you are coming from, but this really isn't the case. Everything I say in the videos is my genuine opinion and has nothing to do with affiliate sales, a perfect example of this is the BenQ RL2755HM I reviewed a few months ago: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXSWk6KpeNucgqc Where I said it's alright, but for 27" I don't like 1080p, and it isn't really a 'gaming' monitor. There is still an affiliate link there, and ironically it sells quite well. If you'd like a few more examples of me being genuinely honest, feel free to watch any of my videos - especially from the last year or so as I've implemented a pros and cons section that clearly outlines my thoughts on products. As for the Brix itself, from what I can remember it was a great little unit and was very quiet - especially while under my TV.

TechteamGB Thank you for your reply. The example you give could indeed show that you're not trying to make a product seem good no matter what.

I would for them to make a larger system (2-3 times the size) like this and have a quad core i7 and a dedicated GPU , like for example the new fury mini or whatever it is going to be called, or some other major release card in shrank form. Even if it was not replaceable, I would still love to buy one. The other thing is the increase of RAM to 32GB. Now that isn't a Gigabyte's fault, but still... BTW, great taste in movies :)

Trusteft I agree, that would be a stupidly awesome system (not as good as yours, but still :P) Yeah, that would be cool - but expensive! haha thanks!

What sort of gaming can this handle?
@TechteamGB9 жыл бұрын
IllusionLabs Realisticly not much, as it is only running an i5 U(low power) class CPU and 5500 integrated graphics. I would expect low settings at 720p, perhaps 1080p. I would suggest game streaming via steam would be the best option to play games on it.

This or a mac mini?

This, it's more powerful and more customisable!

TechteamGB Surprisingly the performance is almost identical between the i5-5200U(brix) and i5-4260U (macmini). It's also not very often I say the MacMini presents really good value compared to the Brix. So it really boils down to use case.

What temps does it get on full load? (is it to hot to touch)
@TechteamGB9 жыл бұрын
On full load (such as prime95) it tops out at about 75! It isn't hot to touch either, which I think is pretty amazing!
