It's a fair call. If this was a competition for "best show", Arcane would've won. But it's not. It's a competition for "best adaptation". And as much of a masterpiece as Arcane was, it's a show loosely based on the universe of LoL, rewriting significant portions of existing lore, and having almost nothing to do with the actual game. Fallout on the other hand masterfully captured what playing its game is like. It's a very good show, and an excellent adaptation of its source material.

Saw someone saying “they uglyfied Ciri so much” whatever the heck that means. More like she looks like a somewhat normal person. More than half of new games still have male protagonists if you truly want to get scientific in the same way some of freaks have gotten scientific about Ciri’s face taking measurements and getting all the angles etc and scientifically explaining how she is the most hideous creature on earth or whatever. I know not a lot of people here are saying it but a lot of people are being sooo f*cking predictably annoying with this. THE GAME IN NO WAY LOOKED WOKE OR GAVE THAT VIBE IN THE SLIGHTEST! I mean maybe to someone it is if they are someone who thinks anything that isn’t specifically catered to their liking is woke. But a sacrifice, a child murder, a beheading, side booba, a bad ass action scene , badass monster, and incredibly awesome landscape/cinematography/and tone of the the trailer…but yeah sure it’s woke trash and the game will for sure fail because you and a couple of other easily triggered snowflakes say so. If we're talking Arcane as a whole, then I would probably say it should've won, but if we're talking strictly season 2, then I would have to agree with the Fallout decision. I loved the Viktor and Jayce dynamic, but other than that, everything else in season 2 ended up being mediocre to bad.

Astrobot is pure fan service that doesn't have any appeal to anybody that grew up with nintendo, for example. The review score is purely based on that. Way too inflated.
