Maybe there are people who don't enjoy slapstick humor since the show relies on that a lot? I actually adore the show, don't get me wrong, but that's legit the only reason I could think of when I see people say it's mid.

@Milk man The gamer I was half baiting but let's not pretend that it didn't fall off After episode 9 nobody even talked about it as much Is it popular? Yes But is it the best anime with a unique plot? Probably not Is it wholesome? Yes This is called Hype period btw where a new hit anime would be talked over the internet then lose its momentum after a few episodes

@@guycrimson6885The problem with the anime community is they don't have any patience or attention span. They want everything to be a banger and everything to be great and fast paced while completely misunderstanding what's the show meant to be and what's the main focus. It's not like manga community is different but atleast they won't act to this level considering manga won't take time like anime. This is a slice of life anime. The whole focus revolves around this and action is secondary here. It never meant to be something thought provoking and complex like Goodnight Punpun or Silent Voice (atleast the manga version for a shonen demographic). But, as I told, people don't have patience and attention span and the only thing they will spam is "mid" just because the story didn't went the way they wanted it to be when it's never intended it to be that way.
