Sadly, because he was using anichart, he missed "the evil lieutenant and the magical girl used to be enemies" completely (because shorter episodes than usual which anichart lists separately). An obvious passion project from studio bones, to honor the mangaka who died before she could finish the series. Also one hell of an insane voice cast. Also worth a watch for hibana alone.

Hey, Garnt, if this comment isn't too late, as a manga reader, I highly highly suggest you watch Isekai Shikkaku/No Longer Allowed in Another World. If the anime is anything like the source material, it will be a genuine diamond and the sleeper of the season. You, in particular, need to watch it as your love of isekai and your simultaneous awareness of isekai being a genre saturated with garbage will make this anime perfect for you (granted that it fulfills the source material well.) And, for the record, I think Dazai would genuinely appreciate the anime. I think it respects him very well with its author-centric ideals.

So because the official synopsis is garbage, here's what Quality Assurance in Another World is actually about: It's a "trapped in an mmo" scenario, but the difference is that A: all the players are professional bugtesters, hired on for the express purpose of stress-testing an unreleased game, and B: the game is completely and utterly busted to all hell. T-posing, quest-triggering errors, the works. Like, the protags are afraid of dying not because they die for real, but because there is a very real chance that the revival system will glitch out and they'll be permanently trapped in an animation loop, and that's assuming they don't accidentally clip through the map and fall out of world forever. Some of the testers have gone insane in desperation, some are just trying to live like NPCs, and the one we follow is just testing anything and everything as hard as he can in vague hope that the dev team will finally respond to his reports. Some of it's played for laughs, some of it's played for existential horror, it's kind of interesting.

Me personally can’t wait for Atri the most since I’ve read the visual novel. It’s kinda like if a bit of Nagi-Asu had a baby with Plastic Memories and some KEY anime like Clannad or AIR added to the mix. So, this one has the potential to make me cry. And I’m here for it! The staff seems pretty good too with the director of the anime who did Bloom Into You and Lord El-Melloi while the series composition did a lot of critically acclaimed anime like Steins Gate, A Place Further than the Universe, No Game No Life, The Dangers in My Heart and more. Okay, hear me out guys. The anime at 6:23, My Wife Has No Emotions? Don't sleep on that shit. Its got barely any members on MyAniList right now, but the Manga is absolutely goated and Garnt should 100% have read on, it does some batshit stuff mixed with amazing social commentary further in whilst still having amazingly cute moments. Plus, its being produced by a studio that adapted Quintessential Quintuplets + Goddesses of the Cafe Terrace and had a role in producing Dororo and Pluto. If they put their A-Team on this, it could be an absolute sleeper hit.

Holy cow, by watching the ads on this video I accidentally discovered a banger of a song. The ad is for some (probably) sh*tty mobile game, but the song is absolutely incredible. It's called BITE! by San-Z. Just the right balance of chill and funky. The instrumental version is superior in my opinion. It lets you explore the complexity of the arrangement better without the vocals.

Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest is exciting. The story is about doing the 100 Years Quest that Gildarts didn't able to finish. It is a spin-off but a direct sequel to the original story 1 year after the events in the last season of Fairy Tail.
