I went to Deliveroo to find out why THEY DON'T LIKE ME...

I've always wondered why Deliveroo hasn't been in contact with me to do a collab or some form of partnership. I've spent a few years building a channel and an audience around doing deliveries which should be an ideal partnership for Deliveroo. So I decided to pay them a visit and find out why!

Just got on Deliveroo few days back after waiting since July! Great app but sad that like all new drivers taking on short term contracts till early next year. My contract runs out with them 28/02/2023... So I'll have to make sure i'm getting the deliveries in with them, in hopes they keep me on after that date.

Contact them via the form on the Riders website to request a review of your contract in January, by the time your contract ends in Feb they may have already extended it.

I did Deliveroo, Just Eat and Uber Eats full time for pretty much the last 2 years. I went back to Uber taxis at the start of August but realised I prefer delivering more so as of tomorrow I’m back full time 😅

Your videos are fantastic I've really been enjoying them. But this title and thumbnail was incredibly clickbaity when it didn't need to be. It was already a cool video seeing a deliveroo meet up. The title would have been fine if they actually disliked you or something. I was just sat waiting for "when are we getting to the them disliking you, I'm really confused" but then to see it was just a single line of "I thought you didn't like me" and them saying they didn't. Thank you.

I understand your point mate. The truth is that without a thumbnail and title that gets peoples attention you may have never found this video in the first place. I can make the most amazing videos and spend 20+ hours on it but if I don't use a title + thumbnail that gets attention the video won't be discovered because of the algorithm. I thought they may not like me because they never got in contact although I've signed up a tonne of riders for them for free and that was what I was talking about in the video with them. So although it's clickbait it's not the bad type where it's just completely different from the content. Clickbait is fine as long as it matches the context of the content. That being said thank you for watching the videos :)

The road show happens through the summer months so it’s coming to an end this year. Usually you will get an email a few days before they come and I think they notify you on the app 👍

Unfortunately this is the weakest part of deliveroo is some of their drivers, late not turning up , this needs to be sorted, as someone you has just join I find deliveroo really good but let down by some of the drivers

Why do they disapprove of manual motorcycles? Its all about scooters and bicycles. Aslong as it has two wheel why not?

I think it's because they are moving towards greener electric vehicles. Most companies are trying to do this for one reason or another.

I didn't quite see it like that haha. He was a nice bloke and was surprised because it's not everyday you meet someone who's dad has designed electric bikes. The reason he was shocked was because my bike looks like a bike designed by the top electric bike companies and so he wasn't expecting it to be designed by the father of someone who is coming to a Deliveroo rider road show.

i dont know why deliveroo took on mcdonalds the attitude of mcdonalds is pretty shocking to say the least. i would like to see deliveroo address uninsured drivers,, and do something for full time workers as in the area im in ill sit about for 12 plus hours making £100, the boost comes on, all these magical uninsured drivers appear and make next to nothing, also i would like to know why deliveroo say when you have a car account, you cant ride a electric bike, as self employed there should be a choice of the mode of transport and not limited to car or bikes..

Tbh I didn’t think a big company u are working for as a delivery driver will know u at this many followers, obviously ur videos are good but the amount of followers u have is comparatively less than other people shooting delivery apps, but I believe it’s just algorithm issue

I see your point and can understand why you think that. If a company's marketing department aren't aware of influencers micro or macro that isn't a good sign. This is why I know they are aware of what I'm doing but the issue in big companies is that they are slow to adopt to the new way of marketing which is social media and it's influencer driven. I'm getting a lot more companies contacting me now then ever before because they are now starting to realise this. Also in the UK I'm one of the main influencers for delivery content, not to boast or anything like that but by numbers it's true.

I doubt that would happen they are struggling to get orders because of cost of living crisis etc. The march for them is pretty cheap it wouldn't make a difference to fees.

I would go to the Deliveroo rider support website and fill out a form to get in contact with them. You can also try applying again.
