Hay dos conceptos llamados Interpretacion musical y musicalidad, ambos pueden ser aplicados a cualquier tipo de baile para darle un caracter y un toque diferente. Hay personas, como usted, que ven el baile como algo estricto que debe ser solo con la forma original. Afortunadamente esa forma de pensar no es lo normal y por ende el baile como arte no se estanca, hay que darle cambios y a la vez disfrutarlo para que este evolucione. Si usted es de los que les gusta bailar para el frente y para atras y dar solo un par de vueltas pues esa es su forma arcaica de ver el baile de salsa, los del video y muchos otros lo vemos como creatividad y forma de vivirse mejor el baile.
