The thing is salsa music is based a lot on mathematics. X amount of basics and something changes in the music. If you know 100 salsa songs, you know 10 000. At that point you can kind of guess where the breaks are, as the structure is more or less the same. He talked about this in an interview once actually

It's not a carpet. I thought so as well at first but if you look closely you will see it is not a carpet but a type of parquet

These kind of carpets is not the ones like houses, they can be better then the such floors.

@@nitta157 it is a carpet ; but it isn't the same kind of carpet that you'd have in a house. These dense commercial carpets that you often find in hotel event rooms are quite ok for dancing. Dance shoes are totally fine on these floors.

🤔🤔🤔 mucha gente que sabe poco de baile como Jairo Aguilar, cree que existe una única manera de bailar. en realidad no es así... Terry en ese video (in en muchos otros) utiliza muy poco la parte superior del cuerpo, las espaldas en particular. su cuerpo es un poco como un un trozo de árbol. también el footwork es muy básico... todo eso no es porque el no sabe hacer esas cosas, sino por crear su estilo y porque tiene que hacer muchas figuras. PERO NO ES LA UNICA MANERA DE BAILAR... Gran Maestros como MAYKEL tienen muchas otras cosas que Terry no tiene!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🔥🔥🔥💃💃💃

One shouldn't dance like this just bcz the follower is able to absorb such harshness and has a smile on the face. Especially when you are the idol of many.. Edit: That's the one of the few videos i disliked of him. Also felt very sorry about Busra, even though idk if she enjoyed or not.

This is not Cuban or Puerto Rican on 2 style Salsa but hey im old school ( you go off pattern but you always return) this guy looks drunk. Repeat pattern adds vigor and tradicional represents what country or where they are from. Ballroom sucks because white people modified it and removed the soul. Salsa dancing is the Tumbao of the Congas the mix of the Boricua Bomba the Guaguanco of the Cuban Rumba and Clave etc. Too much swing, break dancing, spinning, turning competition etc. I tried to understand this Salsalianza but i can't.

I imagine I saw some WCS and Zouk influences, otherwise L.A.-heavy. Terry has shown mastery of various styles, and switching it up a little on the social floor can add a lot of fun, for the follower too. I do this all the time, mixing and matching styles, and follower feedback is generally positive.
