She is known as the "Queen of Covers". Jazz/blues/rock etc she and her band (Gigi Vibes) can cover ANY song in ANY Style and once they have, they OWN it. You need to check out "Fly me to the Moon" for her JAZZ chops, "Unholy" for Rock, and "Better Days" for story telling. She is actually reading the lyrics, as these performances are REQUESTS during a 2 hour LIVESTREAM. They don't really know what is going to feature, so the iPad helps her with the lyrics on songs she has rehearsed, but might not be word perfect with yet.

Couple of things. It's starting to get longer, but in some videos her hair was cut shorter in solidarity with her mom who has cancer. Also she said she LOVES being in a band, WAY MORE than Solo. Earlier in her career she tried Solo, but it felt more like A JOB than it does now with her band, whom she adores. She said it's about what makes her HAPPY, not making more money as a Solo artist.

Brah, there's a verse in the first song where she hits an A flat ... A FLAT!!!! We can probably count the female vocalists who can get there TODAY on one hand, without using all five fingers. Even Patti Labelle, GREAT BELTER. could never sustain an A+. NO WAY Beyonce goes there either. Maybe Adele, but I doubt it. We have to go back to the all-time greats like Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan (Sinatra's fav), Aretha etc. to find Gigi's range.

Patti labelle can though, theres's so many video showing she hold that A flat for longer period of time and i can provide you a video of them.she can even hold mix in D6 so A flat is just a piece of cake to her.Yeah Gigi is definitely a talented singer sustain An A flat wasn't an easy job but she nailed it
