Redownloaded cr:k cause of Gigi and got 300 pulls (forgot how) and im already winning cause in a span of 3 days (when i just got cr:k again) I speedran all the way to the hollyberry kingdom got my kingdom to lvl 8, gacha’d and got 4 dark cacos (one was his awakening) and almost all the ancients(missing hollyberry) half the legendaries, mystic flour, and sherbet. And just today, i did 1 10 pull and got jumpscared by oyster and frost queen. I can’t stop winning I JUST GOT MY 5TH DARK CACAO ON A SINGLE PULL

It's quite f2p friendly you get all the cookies including the legendary and beasts and they're pretty generous when it comes to crystals Pvp wise on my I've been playing for a month now on dark cacao server you can basically get average of Master III with a functional team

PvE's f2p friendly if you have the patience. Don't even have to do dailies super frequently. Granted, I got into the game 4 years ago when gacha odds were way better, and I don't know how the onboarding's changed since then. Still, for most PvE stuff you can use whatever team of cookies you want, and only "need" certain cookies if you want to start minmaxing certain dailies. PvP, however...it's not f2p friendly and hasn't been for a little over a year. Unless you have god-tier luck and pull high rarity cookies regularly.

I think the offputting part of Cookie Run before was the crazy Kpop stan community with the r34 community somehow combining their powers. Now that things pretty much settled down and its treated like a normal gacha game with a good story, people can just enjoy it as a regular player without being bombarded by any nonsense.

I'm not gonna lie... I downloaded it. I normally hate gacha and mobile games but I read it's one of the friendliest mobile games for F2P only so I figured "eh, why not" it's alright so far. The dialogue is kind of cringe but you can skip it fortunately. And since tiktok is dead I need something to do while I poop now. At least it's like 10% less brainrot than tiktok.
