this brings me back to my old long-distance relationship. aye, how we had good times and talks over the call and text. I had to move out of US. across the pacific. she was attractive and well-liked. I was afraid that i would lose her. She assured that "everything will be same" i was jealous of other people playing online games with her, spending more time with her, as our contacts became less frequent as time went on. ah, how it hurt when i noticed how far she was when i opened my eyes. instead of being sad, first thought came to my mind was that love is fragile. she could be happy in lack of my presence. what we had between us could be erased and replaced. i didn't struggle against the flow of events. I let her drift away, just like a paper boat in the ocean. and finally, I let her go. I thought to myself, 'what did I expect?' I felt big hole carving into my heart as my feelings with her devoured itself. 'she may be happy.' 'she could find love again.' 'she will forget about me.' the paper boat waddled across the horizon. only thing i see was afterimage of her smiling in my memories, remembering her heartly laughter. goodbye. sorry. be happy. love is a fantasy, friends. it is weak, selfish, and heartless. Truthfully, some people may not find love at all. Honestly, only blessed few can find the true love between their existence; loving each other for who they are. I hope you all best of luck, and courage to stand up again in the face of failure. Don't let your paper boat sink to the bottom of ocean like me.
