That’s right, folks. We’re talking about one of the canonical “Worst Movies Ever Made” - 2003’s GIGLI. Screenwriter Jen D’Angelo joins us to talk about this fascinating cultural object, and makes a case that Ben Affleck is “good in this movie, actually.” Griffin and David disagree. Legitimately like this film. Its not good in any way. But I dig it. Worked at a movie theater when this came out. I saw it twice in theaters and bought the DVD the day it came out. Lopez is terrible in this. Affleck is not bad and he gives it his all. Walken and pacino are absolutely insane and make this film imo. Just wild, absurd, over the top performances. Bartha playing a tard is insane and Lopez is pretty awful as usual but this film is never boring . it sucks Brest never got to make another film.
