comixology has a good bit of the idw run up and it's been a hoot while collecting classified. This figure is growing on me.

They had been doing really great on the classified lines art that its a shame they went with this art style that doesnt seem to fit in with the rest. I do really like how the figure came out, only thing I'd try to change is maybe replacing the floating belt piece with a legends hand ninjas floating gi piece to give him that longer gi. The deluxe price is keeping me from picking him up. I could care less for most of those weapons and he should have had a sheath. I'm hoping he drops in price before he sells out.

Thanks for taking a look at this guy. I was on the fence about him since I didn't know who he was until you jogged my memory of who he eventually becomes. I'm not blown away by the execution despite the use of Storm Shadow parts. I'll probably pass unless he goes on clearance.

I'm guessing their crappy point of view: 1 couple of unique sculpt work that will be only for that character 2 the weapons locker which is like 2 1/2 the accessoires of a "normal" figure thought these are two light movie packs

From someone who doesnt know who this is, the box art made him look like a goof. Like Dan from Street Fighter. Joke character. After looking him up and reading about who he is, I got him

I think its more to keep that "catoon-ish" look to draw attention, which it does, but as other collectors have said: you open the box expecting that and end up with the actual "realistic" looking figure

He's got a few new parts but not enough to justify the price to me. If that was the case, why not pay $33 for every figure and get all new parts and extra heads for each. I don't see how they justify this one

I don't think it deserves to be called a deluxe figure... I guess that hasbro way of justifying the $33.95 price. I would buy it if it ever goes down in price since he's not a Gi joe character I knew. Loved the idea of using his unmasked head sculpt for Barbecue, granted it needs to be modified but still its a redhead guy and as we all remember BBQ was a redhead👍

I want the blue ROC Kamakura with the Quick Kick sash in Classified. I have no connection to this green one at all.

I don't know why I thought the original was released in the standard 3.25 size. But seeing the original vintage version, why did they make them with large bodies but small heads? Yeah, seems like Hasbro is doing whatever they can to cut costs. The original Kamakura came with one sheathed sword, a San Setsu Kon and a gun. So, I suppose he is "deluxe" because they decided they needed to do something with all those Snake Eyes Origins accessories? The staff is a a double-bladed Yari; which didn't really exist in feudal Japan. Yari were long spears with the long blade to attack people on horseback. Having it be double-bladed is cool and breaking it out so that it has tiny cutting knives on the end is...flashy; I guess. I would rather they gave us his three barred San Setsu Kon; that would have been deluxe. Well, I still pre-ordered him. Always love a good ninja. I hope to receive him sometime this week.

Those proportions were just the way that whole era of JvC, Spytroops, and VvV. I guess it was more appealing to kids maybe

Kamakura is not in the current run, but Sean Collins is. He goes by "Throwdown"

This version of Sean comes from Devil's Due Publishing. It's the only comic/media/timeline that he went by this name. DDP added a lot to the lore, and Kamakura was my favorite part.
