Apparently if you put it into another sheet of paper and put it back thru the laminator it sticks again. Also glue another one into the back and you don't see the paper clip at all. Just lovely decorations on both pages. These are gorgeous Gi!!!!!!!

@ Gi Kerr They are lovely!!! Maybe a great solution to the problem is by painting over or pouring resin on top of it. It will give it a 2D or beveled touch! Or an easier method can be by brushing some white craft glue on top, let it dry and repeat the process a few times. Like you would do with decoupage! Just a thought!!! Thank you for sharing!!!

I would hand stitch the laminated bit back onto the butterflies. Just a couple of stitches along the body, maybe some French knots?

Hey Gi ,I found out a little while a go that you can also use a clear nail polish to get that shiny Look, I'm from germany and can't always get the craft supplies you and Other crafters on KZbin use ,so I have to try out other ways to get the effect I want

You have to leave a tiny sliver of laminate around the image when cutting, otherwise they will separate sooner or later, as the front & back laminates would have heat-bound the image, but if cut right to the edge of the image, then there's nothing binding the image to the 2 sides of the laminate & they will open up.

Hi, Gi. Regarding the laminate lifting off, you could try putting them through the laminator twice. You could also try a different brand of laminating sleeves, to see if this helps. Your work is beautiful. Thanks for all you do.

I’m not sure it would work, Gi, but when I laminate card stock sometimes I just run it through twice to make sure it sticks good. I wonder if it would help in this case? Just a thought. When I get a chance I’ll try it. At any rate, I still love the paperclips even w/o the lamination. 🦋

Hi Gi . I have had that happen to me too on other projects and I have found if you don't cut too close to the laminated part they will hold better.

You have to leave a border on them. If you cut to the same size your tag it will peel off. I did the same thing. Lol they are beautiful .

It is not laminated in a pouch it is just one side of the paper. Last video showed how I did it. Hugs Gi x

If the lamination is cutting off you are probably cutting too close to the actual paper. I used to have this trouble when I taught school end of the time.

Hi Diane, It is only laminated on one side. I showed it in the last video kzbin.info/www/bejne/hnm1ioWNpNWVgtU I think it is better for a sheet of paper rather than small embellishments. Hugs Gi x
