Oh they are so cute! I have a load of these leftover from making mini albums years ago. I folded and gessoed them so beautifully I couldn’t bear to throw them away. Result! I always knew my hoarding would pay off one day! Now if only I can find them 🤔

A bit of something silly. I had to part with my favorite piece of furniture. My China hutch. I was able to sell it to a lovely excited woman to have it. However, I had been using it for paper, textiles et. Well the woman and her husband opened the side drawers and low and behold 20 or more toilet rolls!!! In each drawer !! She said, "interesting, do you charge extra for the toilet rolls." I turned 20 shades of red and stumbled all over my words. Actually they were good sports and we had a great laugh 🤦‍♀️

Gorgeous! I've collected a whole bunch of toilet paper tubes, so this will be my little project tomorrow! A tip I find useful: I iron them. The heat desinfect and flatten them in one go! TFS 🤗🌻🦋

just started to use Paper towel rolls and was making bird feeders and bird houses to hang in a small tree outside for children to look at and when I stopped making things to do I got notes from parents asking me to make things to show ...so now I found you I love the pockets and envelopes for my friends with note paper and a pencil as a gift for their handbags...thank you for what you are making and showing us that it doesn't cost alot and to reuse

These are beautiful! Here's a tip for flattening them quickly... If you have a heat press or even a regular iron you can flatten them and dry the antibacterial from them at the same time 😉.

Your work is so adorable! Thank you for sharing!! The front can be sewn on both sides. After attaching the left side move the accordion to the right. As you had it folded out allows you to sew both sides then stack accordion again.

These are ssooo beautiful, I went straight away to the bin and took out all the toilet paper rolls that were not squashed....6 rolls! But can I wait that long for the rolls to dry and flatten lol. I do have some package backing cardboard and similar recycle things I could use but half the fun is using the rolls! I also have lot's of paper saved from the craft magazine's that were freebies! Appreciate the purpose of recycling in a crafty way. Very shabby chic and pretty!! Just a suggestion... The brads for the closure can be fixed first and then the backing paper can be glued on. Also the accordion flap can be stitched on the other side also if the flap and back piece can be off-centered away from the front piece.
