Now, it can be due to a number of factors such as foreign teams now have more nba players, players on the USA team do not have compatibility etc. The average height in Europe or wherever has nothing to do with how the pro players in any country/team perform.

Missing the basic point that you can only get a couple high usage guys on a team. 12 stars is no better than 2 stars and 10 really good role players. How many of those USA guys are good at running off ball, not touching it much, doing the dirty work and being great role players. These international teams are stacked with guys that do that up to NBA level. They player team ball and can score as a team unit. Remember when the 2014 Spurs spanked the heat playing team ball.
