Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe any WNBA EVER has averaged more Points Responsible for Points + 2 x Assists. This year A'ja = 32.5 points, Caitlin: 36.4 points. Clark is leading the league in assists, 8th in scoring, 2nd in FT%, Top 20 in Rebounds, Steals and blocks, leading guard in Rebounds and blocks, 2nd in Minutes. I'm not sure many Clark fans, me included, thought she would be this good, this early.

She also won DPOY that year. She dominated with Cooper and Thompson on her team. Two HoFers. Clark put up that stat line with last year's RoY and a two time All Star in her first year on a team she lead from the bottom to the 6th seed in the playoffs. Maybe Swoopes sacrificed herself as being dominant just to make her point against Caitlin. That tells you a lot. 😂
