gil used to listen to spirits in our apt over and over. while getting high..over and over..in particular this song most of all..and he would cry sometimes. I just held him close and we would rock together

His recording of this cut on "Spirits' is one his best performances ever. And that's saying a lot! I've been a fan of this man since I was a kid. All of his work is just so very good. He has few peers. The new rappers just don't know. RIP great man.
