I've heard this situation is terrible in US.

@dragondix Its strange people allways talk aloud on jazz concerts, no matter what is happening on stage. You can even hear it in some of the live recordings of the greatest jazz musicians (like Jim Hall). But nobody would do this on a classical concert. Does anybody realize why is that? I can understand it in restaurants, where people go to have meal and chat and are not particularly interested in the music. Don't know if this is the situatio or not. But why would people do it in a club?

I agree that jazz can be nice background music at a restaurant like this and sometimes it can be okay to talk quitely when a jazz band is playing. When you have a great like Gilad Hekselman playing in front of you, you best shut up!
