It’s not that people forget, it’s the inconsistency. Weather it was injuries or open cases, Gil wasn’t consistently great. If he played 7 years of consistently great basketball, got injured in the middle but peaked towards the end 👀 He’d be a top 10 shooter no doubt but Gil had the worst luck unfortunately

I don't think you realize how stacked the SG position is in NBA history. Apart from the obvious picks like Kobe, MJ, and West, there's a host of great guards who were better at a younger age than Arenas and maintained it for longer.

I love the fact that casuals like you talk without knowing. His downfall was his injury. You know how that was caused? When Gerald Wallace fell on his knee. So tell me, Superman, you expect him to just be perfectly fine when a 200+ lb man fell full body weight on his knee… in case you didn’t know the knee is connected to the leg which is essential to the sport of basketball.

@wowsadowsa see you played yourself, Wizards lost to a LeBron James that couldn't shoot, with Zydraunas Illgauskus as your center, go back and do your history on the Wizards playoff appearances during GIBERT ARENAS, dominant run!! 03-07, and then get back to me, and tell me the Wizards regular season record during that span too

@ LBJ’s shooting literally has nothing to do with it. He willed all those terrible Cavs teams beyond their caliber.
