@jctslice12 сағат бұрын
The easiest way to debunk this argument that Brandon Jennings is trying to have is to bring up Shaq and Kobe. Although there were series that Kobe did have better stats than Shaq, Shaq was still the alpha & defenses played him that way. He was the guy attracting double teams and sometimes beyond that. Same thing we're seeing with Tatum. We know that Tatum is the alpha & he's been that for years. He's the guy that attracts double teams, not Brown. Brown benefits off the attention that Tatum gets, so yeah. Brown will have better numbers in some series than Tatum, but at the end of the day, we know who THE MAN is. It's Jayson Tatum and everyone else has to fall in line, including Brown

12:54 Gil, Jennings also isn’t 6’9” or whatever. He’s a small guard so jumpers are a norm. But anyone over 6’6” shouldn’t be shooting more 3s than 2s if you’re the first option and/or your role isn’t to be a spot-up shooter. I get it: I don’t think he’s “soft” per se but I’m not a big fan of Tatum’s game myself because he does settle for 3s way too much imo

Andrew Wiggins pushed him around against the Warriors. That is not the same Tatum anymore. Or JB. If thats the case, Durant is the softest player of all time. Because Tatum guarded him that series and locked KD up. Tatum also dropped 46 on the Bucks, and also saved the season in game 6 against the 76ers and sent the 76ers home in game 7.

He’s definitely better than Ant, Shai, and Luka. JT been averaging 27-30 on a stacked team for the last 4 years and plays both sides of the ball effectively. Lead his team in all stats during the championship run. Unlike Ant, JT responded to the double teams by improving his passing. In the playoffs to say the least. At 26, he’s accomplished more in the NBA than those 3 combined. It’s just easy to hate the Celtics
