AD should be playing the 4, where his lack of bulk is less concerning, and he’s able to face up and use that midrange and great handles to attack off the bounce. Also he’s got amazing quickness for the 4 which aids in his face up. He’s a walking mismatch there, but when he plays the 5, real burly centers like Sabonis are his weakness. He can’t defend the post as good, and he’s quite limited to just rolling to the basket. The lack of a big burly frame hurts him there. If he’s playing the 4, he can fly around on offense while keeping that amazing defense. Him at center just seems limited. I do feel like forcing sabonis right and not letting him use his left would’ve done wonders, as he’s allergic to his right hand.
